Where do I find the dimensions of the furniture?

Visit the Il Granito Collection page and choose your preferred furniture. Follow the steps of the quote generator and you’ll see the standard dimensions of that furniture piece in our collection.

Samples

Can i buy samples?

Yes, it is possible to buy samples. We have three types of boxes available with samples of 15 x 7,5 x 2cm. You can choose the materials and finishes as per our Collection. 

Box 1: Vanities and washbasins: 10 samples of natural stone + 4 samples of wood
Box 2: Fluted tiles: 16 fluted tiles 
Box 3: 4 samples chosen by you from our collection

Box 1 and 2 cost €250 per box (VAT excluded). Box 3 costs €100 (VAT excluded). The shipping costs are not included in this price. The requester (you) takes care of the shipping. First, we will send you our invoice. As soon as you’ve settled the invoice, we will provide you with the details about the pick-up and the package, so you can arrange the shipment. We will print your shipping label and prepare the package for shipment. If you make a purchase from our collection within the same year as you’ve ordered the samples, we will credit the amount paid for the sample box.

Delivery time

What is the estimated delivery time?

The delivery time depends on the ordered product.

For vanities and washbasins, the estimated delivery time is about 8-12 working weeks after we’ve received your advance payment. For tiles, the estimated delivery time is about 6-10 working weeks after we’ve received your advance payment The transit time, being the time needed to ship from Il Granito to your location, is not included in this estimation.

Purchase and Payment

How do I request a quote?

Visit the Il Granito Collection page and choose your preferred product. Per product you can assemble the furniture to your liking. Follow the steps to choose the dimensions, the type of natural stone, the wood and so on.  

Your choice will be added to your quotation request. You can always add products afterwards. As soon as your request is complete, press ‘send’ to provide us with your preferences. Then you will receive your quotation per email.

Do the prices mentioned online include VAT or not?

No, the rates are exclusive of VAT.

How do I purchase a product?

After you’ve received your quotation per email, you can request a formal quote. Our team will provide it to you.

Is there a minimum amount required to make a purchase?

For vanities, a minimum of 1 piece is required.
For wash basins, a minimum of 1 piece is required.
For the tiles, a minimum of 10m2 is required.

How do I know my purchase was successful?

As soon as you sign the formal quote and return it to us, we will provide you with an advance invoice. After we’ve received the advance payment, we will place the necessary orders and prepare to put your order into production.

In which currency can I pay?

All payments are to be made in EURO.

Which types of payment do you accept?

Each payment is to be made via bank transfer.

Can I receive an invoice?

Yes, you can.

Can I change my order?

As soon as we’ve received your advance payment, your order cannot be changed anymore. This is because everything is custom-made and ordered for you.

Can I cancel my order?

No, as soon as we’ve received your advance payment, your order cannot be cancelled. Please read our terms and conditions before placing your order.

All our shipments are done through carrier.

Are you shipping to the UK?
Please keep in mind we need a VAT and EORI number to book your transport.

Do you deliver B2B?

Yes, we do.

Do you deliver B2C?

Yes, within the EU we deliver through road freight for B2C orders. The only exception is the UK: there we need an EORI and VAT number to book your transport. 

For shipments to destinations outside of the EU, only air freight is possible for B2C deliveries. Sea freight is not possible for B2C deliveries.

What modes of transport do you offer?

We offer road freight, air freight and sea freight. We transport with a liftgate, unless otherwise discussed. Furthermore, your cargo is always insured.

Which delivery conditions (Incoterms)apply?

The applicable Incoterm is DAP.

Do I have to pay customs fees?

Please ask your customs office for the correct information on this topic.

Can the delivery be done to a first (or higher) floor?

No, all our deliveries are exclusive of vertical transport.

How much are the transportation costs?

The transportation costs vary, depending on your product and destination. If you’ve requested your quotation and received it per mail, please press ‘request a formal quote’. One of our team members will then reach out to you and calculate the transport cost for you.

How do you pack my order?

We pack it in a fumigated crate with ShockWatch and TiltWatch for extra safety. The crate will not be stacked during transport.

When will my order be shipped?

As soon as your order is ready, you’ll receive the balance invoice, inclusive of the shipping costs. After we’ve received your payment, we will book your transport. One of our team members will inform you about the date of collection.

How long is the transit time?

The transit time is the time between the moment your order leaves Il Granito and the moment it arrives at the destination. This time depends on the time of shipment (road, air or sea freight).

Can I track my order during transport?

For shipments with air or sea freight, you’ll get a tracking number to follow your shipment.
For shipments with road freight, this is unfortunately not possible yet.

When will I receive my order?

For shipments with air or sea freight, you’ll get a tracking number to follow your package.
For shipments with road freight, our team will send you an estimated time of arrival (ETA).

What if my order is damaged?

If your order is damaged, please write it down on the delivery note. Make sure to take pictures of the damages and send them to your contact person at Il Granito.

installation

How do I install my bathroom furniture?

We ship the furniture fully assembled to you. As soon as your order leaves Il Granito, we will send you an instruction video. In this video, we explain how to unpack your order, disassemble the furniture, and reassemble it again.  

Our furniture is constructed in such a way that you can easily install it yourself. The only thing you need to do is connect the plumbing and then your furniture is ready to use.

Mounting

How do I mount the bathroom furniture to the wall?

To avoid tipping accidents, the Alexis, Cecilia, Rocco and Ophélia are delivered with a fixing set with two plugs and bolts. The instruction video shows you how to mount the furniture correctly and safely.

Maintenance

How do I protect and maintain my vanity, wash basin, floor and wall tiles?

As soon as you’ve purchased your product, we will inform you about which products you can use for cleaning and maintenance.
